Student attitude & profile in class for Intermediate
Second Part of the posts prior to this. These are for intermediate students. ^___^

NOTE: As said before, these are templates not the actual comment. Please READ them before using. Edit them when necessary.


(Level 4-Intermediate Low)    
  •  The student can give general meanings on familiar topics for basic everyday needs.   
  •  The student English includes many grammar and word order errors.   
  •  The native language strongly affects his/her speech.   
  •  The student needs to hear the language slowly spoken when he/she is listening.   
  •  The learner has already gained considerable amount of confidence and has built a good knowledge base of English Grammar rules.    
  •  Native language intonation is still audible and pronounced, but can already recognize proper English intonation.   
  •  The learner can discuss simple everyday topics and can make an appropriate input in conversation when necessary.   
  •  The learner is not completely able to listen or comprehend English all throughout in a conversation of English speaker.  
 
(Level 5-Intermediate)   
  •  The learner can hold conversation in an arranged normal setting and is able to throw back simple to medium questions to teacher when a situation occurs.   
  •  He has strong interest in learning.    
  •  The learner still hesitates while speaking   
  •  Intonation in native language is still present though there is already a presence of appropriate English intonation markers noticeable in simple statements and questions.   
  •  Commits pronunciation errors only in difficult words.   
  •  The learner can comprehend and respond to medium to difficult questions raised by the teacher on different topics   
  •  Consonant sounds P/F, V/B; student already easily detects D/T although polysyllabic words and blended words are still a problem. 
 
(Level 6-Intermediate High)   
  •  The learner has developed some awareness of personal difficulties in the use of the language.    
  •  S/He can correct his or her own mistakes and makes an effort to be more aware of the problems encountered.    
  •  English is now used as a tool for conversation and the confidence level of the student is now more pronounced   
  •  S/he can hold a conversation much longer even with difficult or heavy topics   
  •  The learner uses more medium to difficult words in his vocabulary. The sentence is more structured now.   
  •  Proper pronunciation markers are more noticeable and the student has developed a more improved intonation.   
  •  The learner is not strained in the listening process. S/He can differentiate the different consonant and vowel sounds, even words that use the blending sounds.   
  •  The learner is not strained in the listening process and s/he can already differentiate the various consonant and vowel sounds.   
  •  The learner can immediately catch the teacher’s meaning and even hidden meanings of words are already understood.      
  •  The learner has little or no problem with the different consonant and vowel sounds uttered by the teacher.
